100% local
Tab Decay does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any data. It makes no network requests. There is no server and no analytics.
What it stores
For your open tabs: their id, title, URL, and last-active timestamp, plus your threshold setting — stored with chrome.storage.local and never sent anywhere.
What it does with tabs
Reads your open tabs to measure inactivity and show them in the popup. On cleanup, it bookmarks each stale tab and then closes it.
Your control
Uninstalling removes all locally stored data. Bookmarks it created remain in your browser until you delete them.
