Exorcise — Privacy Policy

Last updated June 25, 2026

The short version

Exorcise collects nothing. There are no accounts, no servers, no analytics SDKs, no advertising and no third-party trackers. The developer receives no information about you or your training. Your data leaves your device only through Apple Health, and only if you permit it.

What the app stores

Your workouts, exercises, sets, personal records and settings are stored locally on your device in Apple's on-device database (SwiftData). None of it is transmitted to the developer or to any third party.

Apple Health — what it reads

With your explicit permission, Exorcise reads heart rate, resting heart rate, heart-rate variability, respiratory rate, wrist temperature, sleep, body weight, height, cardio fitness (VO₂max), date of birth and biological sex. These are used to calculate your readiness score and Spectral Age, and to show live heart rate during a workout. They are read on your device and never leave it.

Apple Health — what it writes

With your permission, Exorcise writes completed strength workouts — including the heart rate and active energy your Apple Watch recorded during the session, or estimated calories when no watch is used — and the body-weight entries you log. This data is stored by Apple Health, not by the developer. You can revoke access at any time in the Health app or in iOS Settings, and health data is never used for advertising.

Data we collect

None. Exorcise does not collect, transmit, sell or share personal data.

Notifications

If you enable workout reminders, they are scheduled locally on your device. Nothing is sent anywhere to deliver them.

Children

Exorcise does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
